Holiday House in Mézos with Private Parking

The generous little holiday house is surrounded by greenery, with forests and fields, five kilometres from Mèzos. The location is exceptionally quiet and there is little traffic.

The child-friendly outdoor area has a big terrace with garden furniture, a table tennis table, a big lawn with many trees and ample space to play and relax. The owner couple also live on the big, completely fenced site.

The interior has a bedroom with a double bed (140 x 190cm) and an electric radiator, a living room with a dining table and seating, a stereo system and a bunk bed (90 x 190cm) for two people, as well as a fireplace stove to round off the cosy atmosphere. The open kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a four-flame gas stove, coffee machine and microwave oven. There is a bathroom with a shower cubicle, washbasin and toilet.

There are shopping facilities in the nearest town of Mèzos about 5km away or you can drive to Morcenx, with all everyday amenities, In Lit-et-Mixe, about 8km away, there is a larger supermarket and there is also a launderette. This holiday house, surrounded by forest and meadows, is an ideal starting point for walks and cycle tours. Activities such as pony riding, canoeing and quad riding are available nearby and it is just a 15-mintue drive to the Aquitaine coast, with its well-known, long sandy beaches, providing plenty of space to sunbathe and have fun even during the high season.

You can use the wireless Internet connection free of charge and a supplementary bed can be provided on request (80 x 190cm), suitable for a child up to ten years old. You can hire bicycles locally and there are two car parking spaces available.

    “Fijn vakantiewoning, eenvoudig maar voorzien van alles wat je op vakantie nodig hebt. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame verhuurder. De vakantiewoning is zeer landelijk gelegen en de omgeving straalt rust uit. Saai is het zeker niet want je bent op een half uurtje rijden van het strand. Ook een bezoek aan steden als bv Bordeaux of Biarritz zijn mogelijk iets meer dan een uurtje rijden.”

    “Ideal place to stay for access to lakes and beaches....sometimes difficult to choose! Nothing too much trouble for the owners who went out of their way to help us with booking Covid tests. We couldn't have done this without their help. We would go back. Positiv: Very peaceful location and friendly owners. Negativ: Nothing.”
