Vacation apartment in a typical Carnic house of the late 18th century, renovated with skillful use of stone and wood. In the garden large green areas in common use ideal for children to play. The ancient town of Lauco is located on the homonymous plateau that extends from Mount Arvenis to the Tagliamento valley. The apartment is equipped with a sauna. The ski lifts of the Zoncolan 26 km away. Here you can taste dishes of traditional Carnic gastronomy, such as homemade salami and smoked ricotta and alpine cheese. For those who want to spend an active vacation there are numerous hiking trails in the area, which can be explored on foot, by mountain bike, by bicycle or on skis. For lovers of wild and uncontaminated nature and for experienced sportsmen, the path through the Vinadia gorge offers unique emotions. Val di Lauco can also be explored on snowshoes in winter. On site you can also book excursions and Nordic walking courses. In winter, the ski fans among them are only 26 km away from the ski lifts of Monte Zoncolan: here you can enjoy cross-country skiing, skiing on 27 km of slopes and freeriding. In summer and also accessible by car, the 30 km long panoramic road delle Vette is an ideal destination for excursions, it reaches an altitude of 2000 m up to Monte Coglians. Numerous are the hiking trails in the area, some of them reaching high altitudes to alpine pastures and small lakes. Ideal for relaxation are the thermal baths of Arta Terme (22 km), whose sulfurous waters are famous since Roman times. The Austrian border is only 50 km away. While in Italy you can visit Venzone - one of the most beautiful historic hamlets - Udine or Cividale del Friuli (with the old town heritage of UNESCO), visit the coast in Trieste coast or the historic Palmanova and Aquileia.
