Holiday house with wellness area, Bad Bodenteich
This cozy, light holiday home with wellness area is located in the middle of the Lüneburger Heide. The quiet area is ideal for trips to the beautiful corners of the Lüneburger Heide, where there is a lot to discover. On a rainy day you can relax with a nice DVD movie, or enjoy the sauna or the deep bath, and when the clouds clear, light the barbecue. If it gets fresh in the evening but nobody wants to sleep, there are two fireplaces in the house, where you can close the day comfortably. The new day starts with a delicious breakfast and then it goes to the Lüneburger Heide to discover much more. The idyllically located Bad Bodentich is a recognized Kneipp and climate spa and therefore a perfect place to relax and gain new energy. A special jewel of the place is the Castle Bodentich, which now serves as a historical event center. In the former Waterburcht you can travel back in time in the castle museum, you can enjoy concerts or if you have a few hundred years in the past in the medieval spectacle at the beginning of May.

Activities in the area: The small spa town has a lot to offer: in the Am See Kurpark you will find a multi-generation playground and exercise hotspots that invite young and old to be active. Different dew meadows and Kneipp basins, as well as the forest pool in the summer, invite a swim in the cool water. In the area you will find more than 60 kilometers of signposted walking routes. Anyone who is like more active will be happy with the 470 km long route network of the "Nordic Walking & Fitness Park Lüneburger Heide". Day trips to the heath park in Soltau, the Walsrode bird park or the Snow Dome in bispingen, where you can find ideal conditions for skiing all year round, a little further away from 75-100 kilometers, but are definitely worth it!
