Haus Talblick, on the edge of the forest

Welcome to our beautiful detached house, in the middle of a disused quarry, where nature has remained unspoilt. The flat is located in the basement of our house, with its own entrance, which you can reach by going down the stairs.

A 65 m2 holiday flat for 2 to max. 4 people awaits you there, where you can wake up in the morning with a view of nature and enjoy breakfast undisturbed on the terrace in your own garden in fine weather. The flat is equipped with an eat-in kitchen (dining room and kitchen with dishwasher, cooker, fridge and freezer), living room (satellite TV, sofa bed), bedroom with double bed, bathroom (WC, shower, washing machine) and a utility room (clothes horse, hoover)

The garden is equipped with garden furniture and barbecue facilities, but is not closed. dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead in the garden, as the garden is open. Car parking spaces are available. Directly behind the garden you can enjoy the view of the valley on a seating area.

Please note that this holiday destination can only be reached via a road through a quarry company. Free W-LAN is available. location on a slope, detached

A hiking trail leads past the garden and through the forest to Solnhofen (approx. 2.1 km). One of the scenic highlights in the Altmühltal Nature Park are the 12 Apostles. Walking along the rocks, you reach the 13th apostle. A small but cosy inn where you can stop for a bite to eat. A hike on the nearby Altmühltal Panorama Trail is also highly recommended. For experienced hikers, an excursion to the Jägersteig, 14 km away and 6 km long, is well suited - a place to feel good and relax! In this diverse, exciting and unspoilt environment with an exemplary preserved history, you will also find your own personal idea of culture, but the off-road park is also only 2 km away. The Bürgermeister Müller Museum awaits you in Solnhofen. There, visitors can experience a primeval habitat tour with irreplaceable originals, for example from the Archaeopteryx Worlds. If you would like to look for and tap fossils from limestone slabs yourself, you can do this in the hobby quarry 500 metres from our holiday flat. 2 cafés and regional pubs are located in Solnhofen. There is also a village shop, which offers an unimaginable number of items in a very small space and also sells fossils and stationery. There is also a drinks market, an ATM and a railway station. However, there is much more awaiting you in the neighbourhood. To relax, you can go to the Altmühltherme thermal baths in Treuchtlingen, but outdoor pools are also not far away. There are also wonderful cycle paths here, which you can enjoy from Solnhofen. If you still haven't had enough and are planning an active programme, we recommend a canoe trip on the beautiful Altmühl.
