The luxury villa San Bartolo is located in the village of the same name in the heart of Istria, near the fairytale historic town of Motovun on a hill. Motovun is an ideal holiday destination due to its extremely convenient location in the centre of Istria and the isolated location of the villa guarantees you complete relaxation in the complete privacy that this place offers. The villa is built in the traditional Istrian stone construction style and exudes rustic charm, with special attention paid to elegant details. On the neighbouring hill you can enjoy a beautiful view of the green vineyards, olive groves and enchanting Motovun. The accommodation capacity of the villa is a maximum of six people. On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, a bedroom and a bathroom. On the first floor there is another bedroom, a bathroom and a living room. On the second floor there is the third bedroom and a bathroom. A washing machine and tumble dryer as well as an iron and ironing board are at your disposal. On the spacious plot of 700 m2 you can relax and refresh yourself in an infinity pool of 40 m2, drink first-class Istrian wine on sun loungers around the pool, enjoy the sunset or prepare delicious delicacies on the outdoor charcoal grill. There are two parking spaces in the courtyard of the villa. The excellent location of Villa San Bartolo allows you to experience all the charms of Istria, which is not in vain given the adjective magical. The inner part consists of medieval towns that offer a handful of cultural and music festivals, including Motovun, Gronjan, Vinjan and the smallest town in the world Hum. Istria is also known for its first-class oeno-gastronomic specialities, especially wine, olive oil or a very expensive underground gem - truffles. In Motovun, more precisely in the Motovun forest, there is a large truffle deposit. This wild mushroom usually grows next to the roots of trees and special hunting dogs are trained to find it, which requires long and exhaustive training. Black truffles are available all year round, while the season for the more expensive white truffles begins in autumn. Then you can try your hand at interesting truffle hunting tours organised in the centre of Istria. Furthermore, in Istria you can enjoy the many wine roads and taste local wine varieties that are known for their quality not only in Europe but all over the world. In addition to Malvasia, Teran, Merlot, Muscat and Cabernet Sauvignon are also cultivated in Istria. In addition to a rich gastronomic offer, Istria also offers many other interesting facilities, such as visits to cultural and historical monuments and sights in urban centres such as Pore, Umag or Rovinj. Don't miss a visit to the town of Pore, where the Euphrasian Basilica is located, one of the most valuable sacral monuments in the area, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The value of the Euphrasiana lies in the fact that it is one of the few completely preserved monuments of early Christian and early Byzantine art. The complex was built in the 6th century, but also includes remains of mosaics from the 3rd and 4th centuries, which testify to the longevity of this monumental building. Pets are allowed in this accommodation at the owner's discretion or for a fee. Please note that this property does not accept youth groups or stag and hen parties.
