You will spend your vacation in Águilas, a charming port town on the Costa Cálida with an extensive coastline. The town offers not only bathing fun, but also the best conditions for water sports and nature activities. The calendar of festivals held in Águilas includes the Carnival, which has been declared a festival of international tourist interest. At the tip of the old town, on a promontory, stands the fortress of San Juan de Águilas, which everyone should visit. In the harbor town you will find delicious fish dishes that you can feast on in the restaurants. Try the specialty caldero de pescado (fish stew). With its varied landscapes and many natural parks, the Region of Murcia also attracts many nature lovers. A boat trip and an excursion to the historic port city of Cartagena are highly recommended.
