In the middle of the Thuringian Forest you will find this lovingly and modernly furnished, spacious vacation home.

Travel to the cul-de-sac village of Barigau and spend a relaxing stay in this characterful house with your extended family, groups of friends or as a company event. Spread over three floors, you can look forward to tasteful rooms, exposed half-timbering and good facilities that will benefit guests of all ages. Enjoy the get-together in the communal rooms, make yourself comfortable on the seating and look forward to games evenings, as the necessary games are of course also available.

Two terraces and the beautifully landscaped large garden invite you to relax and enjoy a cozy get-together. There is plenty of space for children to play. In addition to flowers, there are also many herb pots on the terraces, which you are welcome to help yourself to.

From the rooms and from the nearby Barigau Tower you have a great view of the surrounding area. A storage room for bicycles or ski equipment is available in the house.

The natural, rural surroundings with numerous animals will not only make the hearts of small children beat faster. The natural rhythm and the originality of the people and landscape invite you to switch off and relax, to re-create and be creative, or to engage in nature-related activities. On a clear day, the night sky is almost undisturbed.

For those interested in culture, all the highlights of the former cultural center of Europe are within easy reach on a day trip. But there are also interesting and appealing excursion destinations in the surrounding area.

Sports facilities are available in the surrounding area. In winter, several ski lifts operate in the area. Cross-country ski trails and winter hiking trails of all levels of difficulty also provide variety during your winter vacation.

    “Ein sehr schönes großzügiges Haus, indem man sich auch mal zurückziehen kann, wenn es nötig ist und man keinen weiter stört, wenn man im Gemeinschaftraum etwas lustiger wird. Wir waren mit 12 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern in dem Haus untergebracht, was optimal war, da jedes Paar sein eigenes Zimmer hatte und die Kinder somit auch in Ruhe schlafen konnten. Es war alles was man sich wünschen konnte vorhanden und auch die Umgebung lud zum Spazierengehen und Wohlfühlen ein.
    Uns fällt nichts zum Bemängeln ein und wir werden dieses Haus auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.”
